Membership is open to anyone who is interested in the local history of Galashiels.

Members may join at any club event or by contacting the Secretary.

The subscription rate of £7.00 per year gives free admission to all club events. (The summer syllabus occasionally includes visits to establishments where an entry fee is required, and this is not included in the Old Gala Club membership).

As a registered Scottish Charity (Charity No SC034141) we are able to apply to Inland Revenue for the return of tax paid on membership fees. Those who are standard taxpayers will be given the opportunity to complete a Gift Aid form when joining.

Non members may attend any event for an entry fee of £2.00.

In winter, the Club events are held in the Volunteer Hall, Galashiels at 7.30pm on  Wednesday evenings (unless stated otherwise). 
In summer, we visit places of interest.
